Reusable Catering Materials Conference – February 11, 2025 – Mechelen

Are you organizing events and seeking tips & tricks on reusable catering materials? Learn from the approaches, systems, and offerings of fellow event organizers, municipal authorities, and suppliers. On Tuesday, February 11, OVAM and Fost Plus are organizing the 3rd edition of a conference on reusable catering materials at LAMOT in Mechelen.

Attendees can choose from 10 sessions throughout the afternoon, featuring over 30 speakers from within and outside the event sector. Explore a mini fair with more than 30 stands featuring advisors, providers of reusable catering materials, washing facilities, (digital) deposit systems, providers of low-packaging beverages (tap systems), and some service providers. The conference is free, but registration is required.

Throughout the event, you’re welcome to visit the mini fair, discover offerings, and engage with suppliers of reusable catering materials, washing facilities, deposit systems, providers of low-packaging beverages (tap systems), and service providers.

    • Why Reusable? Insights from experts in the field of reuse systems across various sectors. Featuring Prof. Dr. Els Du Bois (University of Antwerp), Tom Domen (made.), and Annelies Scholaert (OVAM).
    • Reuse at Sport Events in Paris: Learn from Paris’ journey implementing strategies to reduce disposable packaging at major events. Presented by Lila Durix (City of Paris, in English).
