Personal bio

Julija has a background in environmental engineering from Riga Technical University and is currently pursuing her PhD at EBS. She is the founder of the first zero-waste shop in Estonia and has extensive experience in training and lecturing on zero-waste and sustainability topics for diverse audiences across various social and age groups.

In addition to her entrepreneurial and academic endeavors, Julija serves as a mentor in programs aimed at empowering women, supporting new entrepreneurs, and fostering microbusiness development.

Outside of work, Julija is a proud mother of two wonderful girls, an avid theater enthusiast, and a hobbyist equestrian.
